| Al Khoei - Woody's eco-retreat and family paradiseAo Khoei is situated in southern Thailand along a 14 km stretch of unspoiled beach, approximately 100 km south of Ranong and 200 km north of Phuket. The area contains rocky coves, lagoons and forest (the southern end of Laem Son National Park) There are cool night breezes due to the proximity of nearby mountains. There is a comfortable shaded house 20 meters from the beach set in a grove of cashew nut trees and among other tall trees which line the beach. The house is serviced by a couple who will cater to your every need, hostess / cook and manager / driver. Delicious Thai and Italian food are served. There is no electricity available but accommodations are excellent with candlelight dinners and old fashioned oil lamps. This site is also suitable as a base for nature research. It is ideal for families, groups or school classes. While There are magnificent excursions available nearby including waterfalls, lagoon, jungle and further distant are Kuraburi, Khai Island, Ra Island, mangrove wilderness, Khao Sok National Park, Laem Som National Park, Surin National Park, Khao Lak and Phuket. A Jeep and outboard dinghy are available upon request. There are hammocks, games snorkeling and bodysurfing. Please note that a signal for communications by way of your mobile phone might not be available at the beach. The price for booking the house is 1500 Thai Baht per day. Full board is available for 500 baht per person per day, 350 baht for children up to 12 years of age. Would you like more information?
